Dementia Carer Support Service (DCSS) is a service supported by Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust staff and volunteers who aim to support people within the community of Cambridgeshire who care for their loved ones with Dementia.

Through the journey of life, many of us find ourselves caring for a parent, partner or family member who has dementia. Volunteers within DCSS often offer their time to help other people through a similar journey they have too experienced.

Whether you would like to become a volunteer with the DCSS to develop new skills or to give something back to your local community, you can support us and make a real difference to dementia carers’ lives.

Volunteers are requested to commit to a minimum of 6 months, starting from as little as an hour a week. You really can make a difference in many ways by joining our small team which is well supported.

If you feel that you could support someone caring for a loved one who has Dementia, then please contact us, we would love to hear from you.
